Abercrombie Curve Love vs. Levi’s Curve

Which Curve Fit Actually Fits Better?

If there is one thing I will forever be picky about, it is denim. A great pair of jeans can literally change your whole outfit and your confidence. I’ve worn both Abercrombie Curve Love and Levi’s Curve styles for years, so I wanted to put them side by side to show the real differences in fit, comfort, and overall vibe. In the photo above, I’m wearing Abercrombie Curve Love on the left and Levi’s Curve on the right, both in my true size.

Below is everything you need to know before you choose your next pair.

Fit and Shape

Abercrombie Curve Love

Abercrombie’s Curve Love line gives extra room through the hips and booty while keeping the waist more cinched. You can see it in the photo. The back seam curves in nicely, and the fabric molds to your shape without squeezing. These feel intentionally designed for an hourglass fit.

  • More room through the hips and thighs

  • Snug, defined waist

  • Very sculpting, flattering from behind

  • Minimal gapping

Levi’s Curve

Levi’s Curve also adds more space in the hips, but the fit is more traditional and less sculpted. The denim holds its structure and gives that classic Levi’s shape. On me, they fit more straight through the leg and do not hug the waist as dramatically.

  • More subtle curve fit

  • Structured, vintage-style denim

  • Slightly more room at the waistband compared to Abercrombie

  • Gives a more relaxed, classic Levi’s vibe

Rise and Waist Feel

Abercrombie Curve Love

Abercrombie tends to have a slightly higher rise that stays put when you move. The waistband feels secure and snug, which helps create that smooth, cinched silhouette. If you struggle with waist gapping, Abercrombie almost always fixes it.

Levi’s Curve

Levi’s rise will depend on the specific style, but overall the waist fits a bit straighter and more relaxed. If you like more of a traditional denim feel that doesn’t hug as tightly, Levi’s will give you that timeless, lived-in fit. If your waist is significantly smaller than your hips, you may still get a hint of gapping.

Fabric and Comfort

Abercrombie Curve Love

Most Curve Love jeans use a comfort-stretch denim that moves with you but still holds shape. They feel soft right away and have that broken-in comfort from day one. This is the pair you’ll reach for if you want something comfortable for all-day wear.

Levi’s Curve

Levi’s Curve is made from a sturdier, classic cotton denim. Some washes have very little stretch, so they take a little time to soften and mold to your body. Once they do, they give that authentic vintage fit that Levi’s is known for. They feel more structured and less stretchy.

Sizing

Abercrombie Curve Love

True to size for most people. If you are between sizes, you can size down because of the stretch and the way the waist is cut. Curve Love was designed to solve the waist-gap problem, and it does.

Levi’s Curve

Levi’s Curve typically fits true to size in structured denim. If the pair has minimal stretch, do not size down. You may even prefer your larger size if you want a relaxed straight-leg look. These jeans ease up as you wear them but do not stretch dramatically.
